Many of you are aware that I travel for work, and if you follow along on Instagram, you also know I am traveling to the Midwest (my home state). Fortunately for me, today was the coldest day of the season … thank goodness I didn’t miss this! As I was shivering waiting for my car to heat up, I was wishing I had packed this blanket scarf to wrap around my head and face!
Although these pictures were taken a few weeks earlier in Atlanta, when the weather was in the 50s and 60s, I love this outfit for a Midwest winter date night too (just switch out these heels for booties and add a jacket).
This beautiful blanket scarf can double as an accessory to add a small pop of color and as a blanket to wrap around your shoulders while dining in a chilly restaurant or frigid movie theatre. During the winter months I like to dress in mainly neutrals (yes navy is a neutral) and add very small pops of color.
When I wear navy as a neutral I like to wear bottoms and a top in a like color pallet. This creates an outfit that is soft on the eyes and allows for fun accessorizing, like this bold blanket scarf. Once an outfit gets busy it can quickly turn into a disaster, and I prefer to remain chic.
Until Next Time,
